We are very proud to give you the opportunity to visit such a wonderful and unspoiled place as Yaté.  Escape to the tranquility of the Deep South with us and discover a land of contrasts where the lush green vegetation and the unusual color of the earth associate with blue emerald rivers to fill up your eyes with pure beauty!! You will head for Yaté, located about 2 hours drive from Nouméa. On the way you will take in the sight of many cultural and natural landmarks such as the tribal village of Saint Louis, the artificial lake of Yaté, the valleys of Mt Dore commune, the church of miracle at La Conception, etc…

Stop at Yaté Lake & Yaté Dam Lookout. Be mesmerized by the strange atmosphere at the Drowned Forest site.Have a closer look at Goro factory- the largest nickel melting factory/plant in the south pacific.  Also stop at Mouirange lookout and at Netcha natural reserve park for a swim. A  tour that will fill up your eyes with pure beauty. Join us on this discovery of Bourail and La Foa,  called the Cowboys Town of New Caledonia!  Learn about the history and development of New Caledonia. Visit historic Banu Hotel, Totem Park and Fort Teremba.  The Banu Hotel ceiling is covered with baseball caps and still retains its colonial flavour. Do not miss a toilet stop, they are very clean and modernised but are very unusually built! Visit a local distillery to see how they make unique liquors from seeds and local fruits. Learn about  the history of the first convicts at a local museum. Enjoy a walk on the beautiful Turtle Bay beach, see the famous rocky outcrop formation at Bourail known as the ‘Bon Homme’ and enjoy a picnic lunch by the water breathing in the relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Visit the World War ll New Zealand Cemetery on your way back to Nouméa.

Skip breakfast!!! This tour will satisfy the most demanding foodie. From delectable real French pastries at L' Atelier Gourmand, to the mouth watering chocolates of Chocolat Morand and the refreshingly surprising flavoured ice creams of Amorino, our new "Pimp my taste buds tour" has a lot to offer to the curious and indeed lovers of food.

Alfred will take you to the best places to tempt your taste buds!! Start with a caffeine kick or coconut milk at the local morning markets; continue to Chocolat Morand (or Tonton Jules), the famous local chocolatier who works chocolate into all sorts of delightful chocolate concoctions. After an interesting and commentated drive along the seafont (passing lemon beach; Anse vata beach, the French Riviera, etc..) you will arrive at the newly established Amorino Ice cream: with their refreshing and orignal  flavoured icecreams , Amorino  Ice Creams is sure to  satisfy your hunger for sweets. Then its time for more sweet delicacies at Atelier Gourmand- the famous shop that sells French pastries made from heaven. if you cant decide which one to taste, we can recommend their chocolate eclair and their Vanilla slice!!

Each participant will receive:  a small icecream at Amorino, a pastrie of your choice (up to 500 francs per person), a pack of assorted chocolates at Chocolats Morand

Fancy a typical day out with your guide?? Wanna experience the French Way of Life (C'est la Vie!!) and a French picnic? Well, dont search any further guys, because this is the tour for YOU!!!!

We pick you up at the terminal or your hotel and take you on a short ride to the local markets on Baie de la Moselle- explore the art and craft stalls, the fish markets, the fruits and vegies aisle, sample local produces, pick up a hand made souvenir for your loved ones, blend with the local population and simply enjoy the relaxed and friendly atmosphere of the place. Stop at L'Anse Vata beach and have your picture taken with the famous Duck Island in the background.

Continue to Ouen Toro lookout point- discover what the Australian army left behind during WW2. Drive pass the White Coast area, Magenta area, sightsee local slums on the way as well as other cultural and natural landmarks. Stop at the Church of Miracle at St Vincent and pay a visit to a small local family attraction, the country milk bar!! Definitely the BEST milkshakes in New Caledonia, 100% natural ingredients, 100% delicious, 100% healthy!

Then we head to Nouville, one of the oldest areas of the city, that's also where the first French convicts arrived in the 1800's. The scenic drive to Kuendu Beach will show you more of our country side landscapes before you sit down and relax to enjoy your French picnic. French baguettes, a variety of French cheeses, and some delicious wine to be savored right on the beach!!  Now that's a meal with a view you can't resist!

This is an excellent option for those seeking a relaxing tour of the best and most famous attractions of the city. Before starting the actual tour, you will stop at the local morning markets located on Baie de la Moselle and maybe let yourself tempted by the many art and craft stalls.Then drive up to the Ouen Toro lookout for a mesmerising view of the barrier reef and the surrounding lagoon. Continue to Tjibaou Cultural Centre, designed by the world famous architect Renzo Piano, the centre showcases exhibits and collections of Kanak and Pacific cultures- it is the perfect place to discover more about the Indigenous culture of Newcal and Kanak’s customs& traditions. Pursue your discovery of New Caledonia, with a visit of the Town museum-a modest museum which takes you through the various stages of New Caledonia’s development from the time of the French colonisation in 1853 to the present. Your driver will make you discover the breathtaking view of the Lemon Bay and Anse Vata areas, before dropping you at the newly refurbished aquarium- a wonderful showcase of the New Caledonian lagoon. The Aquarium of Nouméa is also one of the only places you can see the Nautilus in the world. From the aquarium, you will continue to l'Atelier Gourmand, our famous French bakery and pastrie shop, for lunch. After lunch you are free to either stroll along the seafront, have a swim, or do some shopping at the many small boutiques located on Anse Vata at (palm beach shopping centre). We will make sure to pick you up again to drop you back at the terminal on time to board your ship.

If you've got a few days to spare in beautiful New Caledonia and want to discover more than just Noumea, this is the tour you need to join!!

DAY 1 -Start your voyage with a stop at the Boulouparis distillery - Try the natural balms, essences and liquors

Continue to La foa for a morning tea at Le Banu before driving to Bourail, the Cowboys town. Visit the area’s famous natural rock formations, including the ‘Roche Percée’ (the Pierced Rock) and the ‘Bonhomme de Bourail’ (the Bourail ‘Man’). Take in the impressive sights of the ‘Baie des Tortues’ (Turtle Bay). Enjoy Bourail’s coastline, which offers a mix of breathtaking cliffs that drop away into the sea and stretches of long white-sand beaches surrounded by majestic pine trees, all the while overlooking the spectacular lagoon. Begin your drive to Koné in the afternoon.You will be stopping at the new shopping centre before checking in to your hotel for the night.

DAY 2- On your second day, start with a drive to the mine factory for some pictures opportunities. Throughout the day, continue your driving journey up to Koumac. There are many beautiful views along the way, including the wild plains of western New Caledonia. Stop at the Koumac cave- a site not to be missed. Near the village, they offer those who venture into their galleries magnificent sites to explore.Not far away, in a cliff side, a virgin nestling in the rock near grassland also is interesting to see. End your day with a wild deer feeding session.

DAY 3- Its now time for a drive to the northern point of the mainland; Start the day with a delicious breakfast at the Relais de Poingam and then head out to explore the area. Take a stroll along one of Poingam’s outdoor educational walkways and discover the area’s natural plants. Visit the newly restored salt flats or observe the area’s many birds and magnificent scenery.

This is also the day where we will be changing coast and heading to the eastern side of the mainland- the heart of Kanak soul- a totally different world. .We will be heading to Hienghène, a must-see jewel with its towering rock formations rising out of the lagoon and its famous Broody Hen. It is a stunning drive with plenty of opportunities to stop and admire the view. The drive will take you over the ‘Col de Creve-Coeur’ (Heartbreak Peak) and the ‘Col d’Amos’ (Amos Peak), with both offering panoramic views of the water.

The drive to Hienghène takes you on a road surrounded by both the sea and the mountains, through the historic site of Balade and past the Colnett and Tao waterfalls before crossing the picturesque Ouaième River by barge.

DAY 4- Follow the rivers and valleys along the coastal road, stopping along the way to take in the view of the lagoon as it laps the island of Poindimié in the distance. Enjoy a leisurely stroll along Poindimié’s beautiful beaches or enjoy the array of activities on offer in the area. From diving and snorkelling to fishing, treks and village visits, there is something for everyone.

DAY 5- Rested and relaxed, it’s time to jump back in the van. Around mid-morning, head south in the direction of Sarraméa via the Houailou-Bourail traverse road. This very picturesque route winds along the coast, taking you through several villages, all with unique tribes and over the mouths of several majestic rivers before climbing up and over the ‘La Chaîne’, New Caledonia’s mountain range. The road then descends into the grassy plains of the west coast. There are certainly plenty of photo opportunities along the way. You will be back in Nouméa by 6pm.
